Francois Bertheau, Bonnes Mares 2007 A & R COLLECTION spice cake and licorice92 points Allen Meadows Burghound A cool but equally layered nose is a blend of blue Pinot fruit, cherry and earth with background hints of clove and anise that are also picked up by the supple but focused and powerful medium full flavors that are delicious yet serious while possessing excellent depth and length. This is not a big Bonnes Mares but there is muscle present all the same and it will require a few years in the cellar first to really
